The University of Florida College of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, seeks a board certified/ board eligible Pediatric Immunologist/ Allergist to join the Pediatric Allergy, Immunology, Rheumatology Division in Gainesville, Florida.
Responsibilities are to provide patient care services to pediatric allergy patients in the outpatient clinic setting as well as inpatient consultations as requested. UF has a very large pediatric allergy and primary immunodeficiency population from North and Central Florida and the Panhandle. The successful candidate is a motivated and dedicated physician who will become a valued member of the team. Candidate will also be responsible for teaching of housestaff, fellows, and medical students assigned to the outpatient service. Appointment will be open rank depending on qualifications and experience at the non-tenure accruing level of Assistant/ Associate/ Full Professor.

The Department of Pediatrics is committed to fostering innovation and advancing discovery in the biomedical and psychosocial aspects of child health and human development, educating and training pediatric scientists, and directly translating basic scientific discoveries into new patient-oriented therapies. In the most recent fiscal year, the department was home to over $30.5M in sponsored research.
UF Health faculty work in multidisciplinary teams with researchers in the five other Health Science Center colleges, as well as those from across the University. Requirements
Applicants must have a M.D. degree or equivalent, be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida, and be board certified/ eligible in Allergy/Immunology.
