Description

A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr.Tuoqi Wu in the Department of Immunology and the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at the UT Southwestern Medical Center. The Wu laboratory aims to understand the molecular programs governing T cell stemness and exhaustion during cancer and chronic viral infection and to identify targets to improve the antitumor T cell response during immunotherapies. Studies will utilize cutting-edge next-generation sequencing, CRISPR-Cas9 knockout screen, bioinformatics as well as molecular and cellular immunology approaches. 

Dr. Wu received his PhD degree from Emory University. He performed his postdoctoral research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Dr. Wu is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Immunology at the UT Southwestern Medical Center. His research is supported by the NIH, V foundation, American Federation for Aging Research, and generous startup fund from UT Southwestern.
