Company Overview

The Universidad Central del Caribe was founded in 1976, as a private non-profit institution. The University is composed of: the School of Medicine, the Graduate Program in the Biomedical Sciences, the Medical Imaging Program and the Substance Abuse Counseling Program. The University is accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME), the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA) and the Puerto Rico Council on Higher Education (PRCHE). The University has a solid background in research activities in the areas of neurosciences, immunovirology, substance abuse and cellular and molecular biology.
